The University of Colorado Denver
Film and Television Program
In the Film and Television program at University of Colorado, Denver, students receive the foundations to succeed in the film and television industries by gaining experience and knowledge in all aspects of production. They learn how to conceptualize, write, produce and edit a wide variety of film and television projects, including short fiction, documentary, episodic television, TV studio production, public service announcements, promotional trailers, digital effects (like green screen techniques, color correction, computer-based 2D animation) and commercials.
They get real-life and practical experience that includes an annual student film festival, Cinefest; a distinctive Capstone film project where students will perform in all the key production tasks as writers, producers, directors, cinematographers, editors and production personnel, and much more.
